Participation in the competition is limited to one student per laboratory per fiscal year (April to March).
Allocated Amounts
- Same city: total fees up to $300
- Different city and distance less than 250 km: total fees up to $800
- Elsewhere in Canada and international: maximum of $1 000
Eligibility criteria
- Be a student enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in a Quebec university and be supervised or co-supervised by a regular member of the Quebec Network for Intersectoral Research in Sustainable Oral and Bone Health (RiSBOd)
- Have an abstract accepted for a presentation at a national (Canadian) or international convention.
- Request must be completed before the event.
- Only one application per regular member may be submitted per year (i.e. a member may not apply for a student conference support for more than one student in the same fiscal year)
- Awardees must submit a non-scientific summary of their work (in the form of a video capsule or written report) within two months following the conference. The summary must be received before reimbursement. (For social media post)
- RiSBOd support should be acknowledged in your oral / poster presentation
Required documents
- A letter signed by the student and their supervisor (a regular RiSBOd member) confirming the supervisor-student relationship and indicating that the student has submitted or will submit an abstract for presentation
- A document confirming acceptance of the abstract for presentation at a convention.
- The expenses will be reimbursed upon presentation of registrations receipts and proof of payment by the trainee (credit card statement).
