Quebec Network for Intersectoral Research in Sustainable Oral and Bone Health

RiSBOd brings together over 100 Quebec researchers dedicated to improving oral and bone health. Our mission is to generate and mobilize knowledge to improve the quality of life of Quebecers, while reducing health inequalities.

Funded primarily by the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), RiSBOd is committed to an intersectoral and sustainable approach to meeting the health challenges of the 21st century.

The Network's mission is to develop and transmit new knowledge about oral, craniofacial and bone health and disease. Through this mission, the Network aims to promote the quality of life of Quebecers and reduce health inequalities.

Understand and act on the determinants of sustainable health and promote a healthy social and physical environment for all citizens.

Transforming care - Towards sustainable dental and bone medicine

1. Social dentistry and bone medicine: “Developing approaches that are accessible, inclusive and integrated into the healthcare system.”

2. Eco-responsible dentistry and bone medicine: “Assess and reduce the environmental impact of dental and bone practices.”

Basic research for sustainable health, from birth to the end of life

To support fundamental research that serves previous clusters and responds to the major challenges facing our society.
