The RiSBOd is proud to financially support the next generation of scientists through its program to support higher education training in the form of complementary scholarships.

The Quebec Network for Intersectoral Research in Sustainable Oral and Bone Health (RiSBOd) is proud to financially support the next generation of scientists through its graduate training support program in the form of scholarship supplements. The support for master's (MSc) and doctoral (PhD) students as well as postdoctoral fellows (PostDoc) aims to promote multidisciplinary/sectoral projects, in basic, clinical or societal research, focused on citizen participation and the promotion of sustainable health, while respecting the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.  

RiSBOd offers scholarship supplements to students enrolled in a graduate program: $5,000 for the MSc, $10,000 for the PhD and $10,000 for PostDocs.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Be a student enrolled in a master's or doctoral program or be hired as a postdoctoral fellow at a Quebec university.
  • The applicant must be supervised or co-supervised by a regular member of the RiSBOd network;
  • Present a project that is in line with the Network's research priorities, in accordance with the rules of ethics and responsible conduct in effect in the environment where the research is being conducted;
  • The support offered is cumulative up to a maximum of an equivalent amount awarded by the granting agencies ($20,000 MSc, $25,000 PhD and $45,000 Postdoc);
  • The applicant is eligible to receive a maximum of two (2) awards (consecutive or not) in this competition. When a second application is submitted, the applicant will be required to provide evidence that efforts have been made to obtain a scholarship from other granting agencies;
